materials1
  • Floral wire (available at Michaels or any craftstore)
  • Wire cutters or strong scissors
  • Approximately 30-40 magnolia leaves, depending on how long your runner needs to be
  • A few berries for color
instructions
  1. Cut a piece of wire about 6” long
  2. Arrange 3 leaves and use the wire you cut to tightly wrap the stems and hold them in place. Repeat this as many times as you need to have enough bunches for your table size, in our case we wrapped about 10
  3. Arrange each bunch in a line down your table layering each piece over the other covering the stems so it looks like one long continuous piece.
  4. Once your magnolia leaves are laid out across your table to your liking, add berries to any holes or places where the leaves aren’t laying flat. You can also do this as you go; however you prefer, just have fun with it!

A GORGEOUS WINTERY CHIC HOLIDAY PARTY WITH THE AVERY GRACE

Hosting a dinner party with your closest friends and family doesn’t have to be overwhelming! We are absolutely loving this holiday party that Laura Cadenhead of The Avery Grace created. The beautiful table featured personalized ornaments as place settings, how cute is that?! With gorgeous calligraphy invitations and place cards, this get-together looks seriously impressive. The wintery decor keeps the theme of the holiday while still looking chic. Plus, who doesn’t love a hot chocolate bar? Check out Laura’s holiday party below and get ready for some major inspiration!

Before the hustle and bustle of the Holidays, my girlfriends and I got together to share our favorite things! All of the girls picked out one item that they loved with a $10 maximum. Then, they purchased 7 of that one item to share with everyone! When we all left we had an awesome bag full of goodies! For the table design, I wanted to keep things feminine and wintery. I started with the floral design from Posh Floral, then decided to add in the glitter deer and trees. I had ornaments made along with the place cards from the amazing Fig and Flourish. All of the mini desserts were made by Layered Bake Shop and the big cheesecake was made from scratch from Cupcakes and Coffee Grounds, which became another one of our favorite things!
